When will the 3 Lakh Tamils caged behind barbed electric wires with threat of torture and violence be set free?
Rajapakse is following the path of fascism in the footsteps of Hitler
and yet not one country ( including those which pretend to preach human rights on a hourly basis ) or UN or international Media or Red Cross dare raise its voice of protest ….
What is the political solution to these indigenous people ?
Will they ever regain self respect, freedom, liberty and human dignity ?

You are totally wrong. None of them are in that condition. Recently, an Indian delegation consisting of parliamentarians of repute had visited the refugee camps of the internally displaced persons(IDPs) in Srilanka. They gave a factual report on their living conditions and the programme of their rehabilitation to their original places of residences as far as possible. They will regain their self respect, freedom and social status provided they accept the mainstream politics.

ask DMK to undertake economic activities in SL for economic uplift of tamils so trapped . Rajapksha will not undertake any activity as he does not trust Tamils for any good things

Tamil Eelam alone is the permanent solution. Mr. Nehru’s answer for this question is not correct. Pro SriLankan government MP’s were visiting SriLanka. They are not neutral persons. Tamils will form separate country. That will the only solution.

I don’t think the world is keeping quiet. More than India govt., other countries are definitely worried about the state of affairs there. The activities of the Red Cross etc seem to be much crippled for want of adequate cooperation. The thought of displaced persons still in camps after end of the wars is definitely painful, but the world can not do much in respect of soverign states with regard to their internal – sometimes even external (cf: US invasion of Iraq) ones – affairs.

Don’t we see the unfortunate position of the Tibetans being ill treated by chinese or the Burmese suffering near slave life under a military rule that does not seem to abate? And what about the displaced Kashmiri’s being refugees in their own land? Govt is busy appeasing the terrorists but not keen to think of resettling the refugees in their own places!

Do you know if the Sikh families who lost the lives of their bread winners in the riots on the eve of Indiraji’s murder have been compensated for their heavy loss? or if the victims of the Bhopal tragedy still fighting for their compensation, have been rendered justice?

The world is full of injustice and cold indifference to the suffering people. Govt of India is more worried about bringing back Mr Hussein, the ‘famous’ painter who prides in insulting Hindus, back to India; about making peace with Mao / naxal terrorists who have killed / are killing the police and civilians day in and day out! They have no time to think of the poor suffering victims as much as for the extremists – in true style of their pseudo humanism!

When our own citizens are helpless without any media to fight for their justice, you are talking about the Lankan or Malaysian Tamils, as if the govt or the media have the least concern for human sufferings and sentiments! You simpletons!
