i don’t get this:(oh, and this is a Law of Sines problem)

A pilot has just started on the glide path for landing at an airport with a runway of length 9000 feet. The angles of depression from the plane to the ends of the runway are 17.5 & 18.8 degrees.

a) Find the air distance the plane must travel until touching down on the near end of the runway

b) Find the ground distance the plane must travel until touching down

c) Find the altitude of the plane when the pilot begins the descent

For simplicity I will refer to the angle closest to the plane as p, closest to the near edge as n, and closest to the far edge as f.

Angle p is 1.3 degrees (18.8 degree depression to n, 17.5 degree depression to f… 18.8 – 17.5 = 1.3).
Angle f is 17.5 degrees by nature of a line intersecting parallel lines
Angle n is thus 161.2 degrees by the nature of a triangle (180 – 1.3 – 17.5)

The law of sines states that A/sin(a) = B/sin(b) = C/sin(c)

In our case we know P, the length of the runway which is 9000 feet.

For part a) we are trying to find F

P/sin(p) = F/sin(f)
(9000/sin(1.3)) * sin(17.5) = F
F is approximately 127842 feet

for part b) we just need to find the horizontal component of F. To do this we construct a new triangle with our F as the hypotenuse. The angle we will use to find the 2 legs of our new triangle is 18.8 (found either by the nature of a line intersecting parallel lines or the supplement of n)
This is cos(18.8)F or approximately 121021 feet.

For part c) we just need to find the vertical component of F. We use the same angle as we did for part b.
This is sin(18.8)F or approximately 41199 feet.

Why did he behave this way ? What did he want ?
y friend and me were out in a cafe . There was this guy who was staring at me . I didn?t make eye contact with him .
When his friends came and sat beside us he came too .He didn?t sit next to me but a person between us. After a while he asked my name , age (both 23) etc etc. I was kind of shy so I replied shortly.

Porn and Masturbation question for men! How do I get over being mad at my husband for buying porn?
I recently discovered that my husband has been ordering porn from the internet. I knew that he used to do this before we were dating and married but for some reason I guess I thought that he only did that because he was unhappy with his ex. I am not asking how to stop him from watching, please know that! I am asking how to accept the fact that he does and be ok with it so it doesn’t affect our sex life. Another question I have is if some of the things he is watching, is he actually hoping that I will perform this way or allow him to do certain things that he sees but he won’t ask them of me? can you find me greek or roman art prior to 1500CE?
i have to write a 2 page paper on a greek or roman painting prior to 1500 CE
i wanted one that was on or during war, but i cant find one anywhere. ive looked on sites and when i found a painting i cant find the name of it so i dont know if its prior to 1500ce
